Maximillian Designs

Max Gough returned to Washington DC in the spring of 2013 Inspired and reinvigorated by the beauty of Southern California, where he earned separate degrees in Photography and Interior Design. Maximillian Designs was born out of his dichotomous mix of creative pursuits from the early dabblings in musical theatre to a stint at the Alvin Ailey school to his current obsession with art, photography, fashion and fringe. His design style is beyond eclectic, and his current influences range from European travel and Fellini films to the Bauhaus and the Haus of Gaga...he calls it West Coast Exotic. Recent projects have included a modernist West Hollywood condo for a producer from Americas Next Top Model, a sumptuous Hancock Park dream house for the President of MGM (that is shockingly suitable for kids) and a lifestyle boutique in trendy Eagle Rock CA. No project is too big or too small. His gift is equally evident in a 10,000 square foot home or a 300 square foot bungalow. Max has worked as a production, event, commercial and residential designer. He is currently completing projects in Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Richmond VA.
