Overson Roofing

I researched reliable and professional roofing contractors in the Phoenix area and sought out five estimates. Overson Roofing was one of only three companies that responded to my request for an estimate. Their roofing estimator came to the house on time and presented all the options available including the scope of work, time frame, preparation, clean up procedures and finance options. Overson was not the least expensive estimate but was considerably less expensive than the highest bidder. The work was scheduled to begin on a Thursday but I received a call asking if they could begin a day earlier... pleasant surprise! From tear off of the old roof to completion of the new roof, the process took three days. The crew had to replace some plywood on the roof deck and a 20 foot long 2x8 portion of the facia. They sent the wood to me early in the process so that I could prime and paint the facia before installation. They used 2 inch flashing for the perimeter of the roof and replaced the flashing where the patio roof connected to the house. Originally, they were going to install Tamco roofing material but because I was unfamiliar with that companies material, I requested Owens Corning and they made the change without any additional cost. The workmanship and installation appears to be excellent. Tarps were placed around the house to collect debris from the tear off and at the end of each day, they took time to clean up any stray scraps to keep the job site clean. They used a large magnet to ensure that no nails or staples were left near the driveway. Our AC technician was impressed with the roof installation around and under the roof mounted AC unit. From beginning to end, Overson's job supervisor kept me informed about the process. I highly recommend this company for any re-roofing project and will use them again should the need arise.
