Rustic Expressions

Rustic Expressions is owned by the same family that has run Wilderness Expressions, a Rustic Decor store and coffee shop located in Standale, MI, since 2005. The love of visiting cottages in the north of Michigan and the beautiful furniture and decor that came along with them was an inspiration for this business. Wilderness was created to give a more urban city the chance to have these beautiful additions to their homes as well, or perhaps buy them for a family cabin or a friends getaway. After their daughter moved to Saugatuck in 2012, thoughts arose to expand their business to the lakeshore. The beautiful homes and relaxing nature surrounding the area seemed like a perfect fit! The majority of the products we carry are from other small family businesses and Amish communities, so the items purchased here will not readily be seen on chain or department store shelves.
