I can't say enough great things about what it was like working with Rob! He is friendly, very professional, punctual, has so many years of experience and is extremely knowledgable about his job! Unlike so many other contractors, he cleans up very nicely after he ends his day so that you aren't left with a big mess in your home. He is very clear about what each day will look like and how long a project will take. My husband and I originally hired Rob Shepherd to remodel our kitchen, but he also ended up remodeling our closet, as well as helping my husband in his "man cave." My husband is a "project guy" so, many times I felt bad for Rob because my husband was constantly asking Rob for help with side projects. However, Rob was very professional and friendly and ended up helping us with So much more than the kitchen. He mostly worked alone but has a few trusted guys that he has worked with for many years Who he would bring in for certain areas such as electric amd plumbing. They were also very professional and hard working. Rob was usually there with them, but if there was a day he couldnt be, He always touched base with us to see how things went and if there was anything that he needed to address with them. We ended up hiring some painters he knew that we very affordable and did great work inside and outside our house. He is not like any other contactor you have met. He is a great family man who works hard and TRULY wants you to be happy with the outcome of your project. It is NOT about money for him, he truly loves to help you design whatever dream you have and in your price range. We plan on working with Rob for so many more house projects. We were so very blessed to have stumbled upon his name while we were looking for a general contractor. Thank you Rob for EVERYTHING!!

We hired Rob to install cabinets in our laundry room, after having a previous bad experience with another cabinet maker/installer. Based on my previous experience, I was hesitant to try another cabinet project, but Rob proved that every cabinet maker is not created equal! My first phone call to him resulted in a timely and professional visit to my home, in which he spent substantial time reviewing my options. He understood what I wanted and why I wanted it, and made recommendations based on his years of experience and knowledge. He took my price range into consideration and didn't try to sell me more than what I wanted or needed. Rob was honest with me about the fact that he was booked several months out, as opposed to promising me completion in a short time frame. It was worth the wait too. Rob's work is meticulous, and the end result is flawlessly built and installed cabinetry, that cost exactly what the estimate was. The laundry was left in better shape than when he first arrived, including painting and installation of a new light, and the work area in the garage was left clean. If I had only chosen him for my first project....

Purchased a home that required some ADA compliance modifications. Hired Rob to modify two kitchen cabinets, install setback hinges on doors, close an arched opening between the living/dining rooms to create an exercise room, paint all walls/ceilings, install ceiling fans, enlarge pantry door opening for roll in access with double doors and auto lighting and gut the hall bath to make room for a no barrier wheelchair access shower with floating toilet, roll under custom vanity with cabinet, new lighting, floor to ceiling subway tile, marble floor, tilted mirror, decorative grab/towel bars, inset medicine cabinet and custom soft-close sliding barn door. All I can say, he was a God send He was there every step of the way with his infinite expertise, always making sure that I was happy with what he was doing and adjusting things as we went along. Mind you, I was 2000 miles away while this construction was happening as we hadn’t moved to Phoenix yet. When I flew out two months later I was just thrilled to see so much done exactly like I had envisioned it. We met initially, he gave me a great quote within a few days, sent him pictures of what I needed which really helped the process go smoothly. Rob and his crew just went to town doing everything that I needed and more. Making sure that I had frequent updates, discussing modifications as they arose or suggestions on how to make something better. I have worked with many contractors over the years and no one comes close to his meticulous work that he takes great pride in doing for his clients. His specialty is custom cabinetry and from what I’ve seen, it’s just stunning. Everything he did for us is absolutely perfect! I cannot say enough about the integrity of Rob, just know that when you hire him, he will do his utmost to make you happy with his work. He is not only my Contractor for life, but someone I call my friend. Thank you Rob!!

I needed someone to build a custom fish tank stand that flows well with the current layout of my home. Robert (owner) did an amazing job. He took time to discuss ideas, and concepts that I had in mind. Robert's attention to detail is impeccable. He reviewed the design of my current kitchen cabinets, home layout, counter top height, home colors, etc to ensure ALL aspects of the new fish tank stand flow seamlessly. I have never worked with anyone with this high level of detail orientation, critical thinking to resolve/prevent potential challenges, and professionalism. He will work hard until the job is done right, and is ALWAYS available to answer any questions you may have during the entire process.

We set a time with Shepherd Construction to visit our home to assist us with ideas. The owner was not only prompt with us, but inspired us with great possibilities to work with our space! I have viewed several completed remodels and all looked amazing, with superior attention to detail! Shepherd Construction created highly satisfied clients that I spoke to directly and I can't wait until we can become one of them! They are our number 1 choice for our future kitchen remodel. What a wonderful experience! After several attempts to find a competent contractor to really understand what we wanted we found Rob Shepherd of Shepherd's Construction. Rob and his co-worker Jim arrived on time to evaluate our project. Within a couple of days we received a quote at a fair price along with exact drawings with dimensions, materials to be used, etc. We accepted their bid, set a date for the project to begin and it did! They were on time, used first class materials and their construction equipment was perfect for the job. At the end of the project they left our home spotless and we paid them the exact same price as what they had quoted. We would use and recommend Shepherd's Construction again for our next construction project.

I would highly recommend Shepherds construction for all your remodeling had them design and build our pergola and updated our laundry room with custom built cabinets. They also updated our kitchen counter tops, great work
