Tub King was established in 1993 and the owners quickly became recognized for their knowledge and quality of work in surface refinishing. They were eventually sponsored and hired by chemical manufacturers to teach refinishing training classes for them. Shortly after they opened their own Training School, teaching the skills of refinishing to contractors all over the country. At this time Tub King is the exclusive refinishing training school for Midwest Chemicals in the entire country! Around 2005, the older original tubs were becoming sparse and difficult to find. Tub King enlisted a foundry, the same foundry used by several big names in the bath industry, to manufacture reproduction clawfoot bathtubs for their own Tub King line of bath tubs. The Knight Brothers wanted to produce a line of tubs that were luxurious and high quality, but at the same time affordable to anyone. In 2006, the owners of Tub King were inspired to manufacture a line of senior walk-in bathtubs due to the needs of an aging parent. The Tub King senior walk-in tubs are still the best and most affordable walk-in bath tub on the market today. Tub King continues to be focused on safety in the bathroom for the “aging in place” community and disabled persons. You will not find a comparable quality walk-in tub at our price point.
