Great Nation of Tejas: nah - even with our drought conditions during the hot and humid 6 months of summer, our lawns do right fine, thank you. Best grasses are bermuda, St Buffalo, Bahia, Fescues, Zoysia, native prairie, little bluesteam, switchgrass, indiangrass, ryegrass, but really, it all depends on your ecosystem and Texas has quite a few. One for all never works in Texas - on anything! LOL

and I've already mowed my lawn 6 times so far this year and it's just the first part of May! :)
