What would the cost be for the breakfast nook? I would change the top to white and the seat cushions to an aqua or teal, but I love this!

We just did the top - the trim carpenter did the seating. The table top is Cypress stained with distressing. Our wood tops run about $60/sq.ft. - it depends in the wood and the finish. Feel free to call me to discuss options - and shipping if needed!

hey, not local. south fl...want my husband to build for me...if this is cypress, can you explain how to stain for dark finish? did you use alcohol stain?

It is Cypress - but it is a catalyzed conversion varnish with a custom created stain color. Your local paint store may be able to help you with color and finish options!

I think the fabric is by Galbraith and Paul - I believe it is Birds in Ocean.
  • parting2000s4
Thanks for the quick response, I was wondering about the back side the pillow (looks baby blue), the front is the Birds in Ocean (love the design). Thanks again

We didn't do the lighting - just the cabinetry - but thanks for looking!

I'm sorry we only did the cabinetry for this breakfast nook. You may want to contact the Interior Designer for this - it was Grace Kaynor out of New Orleans.

I believe the cushion fabric and trim is Tuscan in Cypress that you can find at Calico Corners in New Orleans, LA - or you can contact the interior decorator Grace Kaynor at gwkdesigns.com

I'm sorry - I believe the builder installed it - I think it is attached to the wall with a type of L bracket in the sheetrock and nailed to the floor before the final shoe molding is applied to the base.

We did the table top - which is Cypress wood with a distressed finish, the wall paint is Panda White # 6147 by Sherwin-Williams and the trim color is Dover White # 6385 also by Sherwin-Williams, the flooring is by Armstrong and is Blackwater Classics, Walnut in Vintage Brown. I'm not sure what your question was - but I hope it was helpful!

The flooring is by Armstrong - Blackwater Classics, Walnut in Vintage Brown - it is an engineered wood floor and has a 25 year warranty.

Delightful seating area. When you don’t need to worry about maximizing cabinet space, some fun possibilities open up; a lovely little seating area in the kitchen is one great option. After all, even if you don’t spend hours cooking, you likely do want to be able to sit down in a comfortable space and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, or a simple supper (even if it’s takeout) after a long day.Do you love to cook, cook only for necessity or avoid it at all costs?
