“Reference photos: ‘My forever home at last’ We undertook a large renovation on our 6000 sq foot house and Tina worked with us from planning to installation (about 18 months). We had a good experience with Tina. I would say what sets Tina apart is: - Tina is detail orientated (eg millwork requires very careful measurement/design) and Tina considers the practical application of the design and material. - Knows how to achieve a high end look but stay within budget utilizing her supplier network. - Tina’s billing structure accommodates different sized projects. - Pleasant and professional to work with. Good working relationship with her suppliers. Our scope for Tina included: - new flooring selection throughout - New sconce lighting (family, master ensuite, breakfast and kitchen) and entrance chandelier - New millwork plans and counter tops: kitchen, pantry, family room wall unit, breakfast room, dining room, coffee counter, master bathroom, laundry - Master bathroom (new layout, tiles, sconce lighting) - Tile Grout and paint colours selection. - Wall trim in entrance - Sounding board for my many ideas and questions! Millwork designs were a big part of this project. I had images of what I wanted to achieve and Tina drew these up, and worked patiently with me as we went back and forth on various designs trying to figure out what practically worked best for the space and still give that wow factor (I did change my mind several times!). In order to keep my design fees within budget, and because I knew the look I wanted but clueless about pulling it all together, instead of Tina accompanying me to visit multiple stores to choose materials - Tina recommended where I should go, who to talk to/questions to ask and what I should look for size and colour wise. I then brought back the samples I liked and Tina carefully worked through them looking at them in the space alongside other materials we had chosen. When I was really stuck, Tina met me at the supplier to help make selections. I would use Tina again for sure.”
