“We hired Jane Brookman of Jane Brookman Designs to design and coordinate a full master bathroom remodel in our Seattle home, and the experience was excellent. The project went down to the studs and included a custom shower, new soaking tub, tile floors and walls, lighting, plumbing fixtures, vanity cabinetry, mirrors, paint, and a redesigned toilet room. Jane helped transform what was previously a dark, broody bathroom into a light, spa-like space with a modern look that feels welcoming and relaxed, and very much like us. This was our first major home renovation, so communication and guidance were extremely important to us. Jane was consistently responsive, organized, and professional. She patiently walked us through the process, helped us navigate the many design decisions, and coordinated effectively with our general contractor to keep the project on schedule. Jane also helped us make thoughtful material and fixture selections and was especially helpful when we requested a few scope changes. Instead of simply accepting budget increases, she worked with us to find materials that kept us closer to our original expectations. Her creativity and resourcefulness made a real difference in the final result. The finished bathroom feels like a spa retreat. The space is light, bright, and beautiful while still being very functional. My wife especially loves the new soaking tub and now enjoys relaxing baths every week, something she had not done in more than ten years. Several months after the renovation was completed, we are still enjoying the space every day. We highly recommend Jane and are already planning to work with her again on future projects in our home.”

“We contacted Mary to help with our open-concept living area renovation project, which included the entryway, powder room living room dining room and kitchen. We knew how we wanted the space to look and feel, and we wanted to have full control over the project. However, because our space is on the smaller side, we definitely needed some professional advice about layout, lighting, space use, and how to make everything tie in together. Mary was the perfect answer! During our initial call Mary listened and succinctly summarized our needs and wants. We decided to move forward with a Design Consultation and sent Mary links to our living room Pinterest board as well as a whole list of questions we wanted to work through during our consultation. Mary came to the meeting with printouts of Pinterest designs she thought would work best for our space and we worked through our list of questions. One of the most amazing aspects of our meeting was that Mary never tried to change our ideas, but took them to the next level and ensured that both my and my husband's needs were met and our ideas incorporated. Mary also gave us advice about what items we should splurge on and where we can save some money. At the end of our meeting Mary shared information about professionals and companies she has worked with in the past that have delivered great results. By the time we met with Mary we have already talked to a number of contractors and just didn't feel confident about any of them. In the end we signed with a contractor Mary recommended. We are so happy we found Mary. She is so knowledgeable, so great at listening to her clients' needs, and goes above and beyond with her services. We will definitely contact her again for our design needs!”

“I am a real estate broker and over the past four years I have worked with Rhonda Lynch, at Ruby Lane Home Staging, to prepare my clients’ homes for market. Rhonda is a creative stager who goes the extra mile when staging a home whether you’re looking for a simple pop of color with existing furnishings or a major uplift. Her eye for space, lightening, and the overall environment is amazing. Recently I had clients sell their family home that their father had built and they had known for decades. The clients were blown away by the staging Rhonda had done, which transformed a basic cabin into a luxury retreat. They said, "We couldn't believe it was the same home, we should buy it!" when they walked in. The home sold in days with eight offers. I recommend Rhonda at Ruby Lane Home Staging to anyone preparing their home for market. She brings her creative ideas, the ability to execute the plan, and pricing that enables transformations at all levels. -- Erik Pulkka, Coldwell Banker Bain”
