Love the pop-up outlet!

How difficult is this to do? Would most contractors know how to install this? I apologize if these questions have already been addressed.
Thank you so much!

Hi Jan. Yes, although this is a relatively new product on the market we are familiar with installing them into the cabinets / countertops. They are however a little bit pricey, but a very cool and useful feature.

Hi Jan, I've been using these since about 2007 on more than a handful of projects. There is a cord that is hidden in the cabinetry below. So, you would need to plan where the outlet is located for it to plug into. Also, allow for an area for the unit to drop down into. The pop up outlet is around $140 and well worth the functionality it provides. It is a good idea to have an access panel to be able to get to the electrical connection below the counter.
