The door is 1 3/4" and is manufactured with engineered stiles and rails, which is done to make the door straighter and to prevent it from warping. That means that it is skinned with mahogany rather than being solid mahogany. FYI, solid wood doors area thing of the past and old technology. I don't have an interior photo of the door but I can tell you that it looks exactly the same on both sides. Also, the vertical silver piece of metal (astragal) has been replaced with a mahogany piece of wood.
