Kitchen back splash help please!

I'm having a very hard time choosing a back splash- my floors are a limestone gold tile and the countertops are Jerusalem limestone. My house is very Tuscan so it can't be too modern looking the back splash- would be so happy with some ideas please.

You could go with a tumbled jerusalem limestone for your backsplash. See picture. ( excluding the scenic tiles )

Is there a 3x6 size of your floor tile? That would have a Tuscan feel.

You could use mosaics that would pull colors from either the counter, hardware or cabinets. You could also use a travertine. Sounds like a trip to the tile store with a sample of your cabinets, hardware & counter is in your future.

Nothing is more timeless or Tuscan than calacatta-gold marble. For an even more tradtional and European look, lay it in a herringtone pattern. Look for tiles that have lots of gold in them.[houzz=

you can go with a blend of glass and stone. This blend brings other colors into your kitchen as well

I love that glazed ceramic tile with the designs molded in. Lots of texture and looks very old world to me.

Everything does not need to match. A simple subway tile perhaps in a glass, maybe a touch of sea glass blue would provide a lovely contrast and will give you the Tuscan feel.
