what happened to oil rubbed bronze?

Don't get me wrong I am very happy about it, but I just looked at an entire mass of bathroom photos and did not see one with oil rubbed bronze. I just spent a ton of money outfitting an entire house that we sold with the stuff; doorknobs, hinges, handles, sinks, etc. Thank goodness the buyers were not looking at houzz. LOL

Oil Rubbed finishes are still very big here in the Southern California ...but we use different applications for different situations.

The finish depends on the house or room style. ORB is great in an arts and craft, victorian, etc. Whereas a finish like nickel or SS works best with a more contemporary / modern space.

Hi---I love ORB and think it was a wise choice. There are several rooms here on Houzz with that finish---and they are Gorgeous spaces. CheerS!
