love the pop of color.... our dining room chairs are a russet/burnt orange color.

I'd change the chair color to black even tho I do love the yellow color...just not with your table.

I like the color combo, I think a really good teal in there would really pull the room together. Maybe you can find a deep teal centerpiece to anchor the picture to the table and chair. The picture is a little hard to see but see if you can pull a blue/or green from it.

i think I would prefer to see the colors in your painting in a floor rug and the chairs white.

Nice table. I would choose the black chairs and use the picture and other accents with yellow in them.

What type of chair is that, incidentally?

I like the yellow just fine. I'd suggest keeping them. Grey or black would make the space a bit dull.

Chairs seem a bit low for table - how many are there? Vote for yellow, however, would like to see it set up with all chairs and art piece for effect - might help you decide too!

When I saw just the thumbnail photo, I thought, 'yuk!' (but I'm not a yellow person, much less acid yellow.) However when I clicked on it and saw the whole pic, I instantly changed my mind. Can't tell much about your artwork, but send us a pic when you have it all set up - it's gonna look great! :)

HI --- What makes rooms interesting is the unexpected . I think you need to hang the picture and finish putting the room together , then judge . Pick an accent color from the painting for some items to set on the table. Then see if you like the result. Yellow is not my color but these chairs can be the bright spot in the room. Great table - you will enjoy it for years. I love Gus Modern style.

I think it would look better with white of with a ghost chair for a touch of classy chic look
