Powder Room Floor Tile

Changing my mind about my floor. I have a dolce stained vanity (very dark), spring white granite counter top, white demi lav sink with brushed nickel faucet. Am considering the attached dark grey flooring. Something isn't sitting right with me though. It almost reminds me of a bathroom floor I'd see in a mall or restaurant restroom.
I think I'd like to do 12 x 12 marble but I need a very neutral color with little movement. Some look too yellow and some look to grey. Any thoughts on the marble or the pic attached.

I don't love the picture with the small strips of tiles because it looks much too busy and it doesn't look like floor tiles.... However, I think these strips would be stunning if they accented your larger 12x12 marble tiles. Maybe create an 'area rug' with tiles and use these as the border? Or use these as a perimeter edge.
I don't know all the different kinds of marble so cannot help you there, but mixing the tiles I think would give you an truly amazing finished product.

I like the tiles, but they look almost industrial to me.

You might consider porcelain tile that looks like wood - available in "driftwood"-like colors. http://www.houzz.com/porcelain-tile%2C-wood

They usually are pretty good sized tile so you shouldn't need too many for a powder room.

The wood look may be nice and I think it is Jeffrey Court that has a marble look product called Statuario that we have used on the floor.

I like the tiles - pick a color out of the tiles that you like and use as the accent color. I do like the combination of the grey and golden/yellow look it gives. A lot of ways you can make it come together with this combination. I see different shades of many colors you can work with.

I am loving this look with your other choices - its so interesting - and I really like the small details these narrow strips bring - with plenty of non-slip grout for bathroom use.

This stone can work nice if you install it with a wide contrast stone or wood border around it.
