was the fireplace all custom? what was the material used around the firebox?

The fire image itself appears to be a "cut-and paste", while the non-combustible surround appears to be some sort of tile.
The paneled wall and mantel, as well as the rest of the built-ins and paneling in the room are all custom and are incredible. Great job!
