Powder Room vanity

Would live to get some expert advice ... I just had granite put on my old vanity cabinet in the powder room & I'm wondering if I should paint the cabinet or not. Also, I have no idea what color to put on the walls.

Roll up some mixture of those colors of little guest hand towels & stick them in your wrought iron wall hanging thingy.

Thank you ... so sorry to bug you, but do you think that I should leave the walls the color they are? or paint a different color?

Leave the cabinet as it is. With the darling mirror, the oil rubbed bronze faucet & the dark accessories in there it is great the way it is. A lovely butter cream such as it is is very nice. try an almost white teal. add a few drops of the color into the ceiling paint. No towel ring? Add one & use a darker teal or coral for the hand towels.

well, the current color is fine. it looks lighy it is an off white now and it works with the vanity top and cabinet. we're you wanting some color in the bathroom? do you have other colors in your home?

I would paint the cabinet an espresso or black.

Agree with the others not to paint the cabinet. As for your walls, you could go a shade or two darker. It looks a little light in the pictures and a warmer beige would help to ground the room. It looks really nice!

I would also paint or gel stain the cabinet. Going dark, such as espresso or java, will be really pop and pull in the mirror and granite. I recently java gel stained 3 bathroom vanities and an entire kitchen from honey/golden oak. It turned out stunning.

The vanity looks absolutely beautiful as is. Do not paint it. If you'd like the bathroom just a wee bit warmer I'd suggest Rice Paper - Sisco, or Lace Hankerchief - csp 220 Benjamin Moore

It think you can go with a cool gray for the vanity. Also, I love wallpaper in powder rooms.

Personally, my vote is to over-stain with the java gel stain, or you could also consider replacing the two front cabinet doors with an updated profile, and then paint the whole thing a dark bronze or chocolate brown, or expresso. Regarding the color of the walls, I think you should go with a toned down color of what ever color makes you happy. You are missing an opportunity here, bathrooms are the perfect place for some color. If you want something calm, you can stay with lighter shades.
