no. one cant be a total slave to having a giant vanity in case 2 people want to brush their teeth at the same time.

i'd also advise putting in just one sink, not centered, and have lots of open countertop.

You may want to retain a local architect to review space allowances. For instance some plumbing fixtures will not fit through a two foot wide door.

I also would forfeit the tub for a huge shower & a toilet compartment.

With that maybe you can do two sinks with more area. It looks to me that the shower you have in the space isn't large enough & where does the door of the shower swing?

Also go with quality pocket doors on the bath & closet & expand the size of the bedroom door.

Hi Mark, the bathroom door is 2'4", not just 2 feet.

Hi Sandra, the shower door handle is currently located near the toilet and swing toward the vanity.

I would dump the tub, too, and stick with only a shower. We have a similar overall layout to yours: a toilet and shower where your tub is and a 6.5' double sink vanity that is open to the bedroom (we also have a closet where your toilet/shower sit). I LOVE having the toilet in a separate space and wish we had been able to do a pocket door; and even though I spend very little time primping, I am so glad we have double sinks.
