That is indeed LED lighting "carefully" located behind a translucent stone. You have to be very careful to use the right distance and output of the LED so you don't have "hot spots" showing like Christmas lights behind the stone.
Starr, I particularly appreciate your compliments because it corroborates the desire of so many if my clients who tell me that "they feel twice as beautiful when they look at themselves in these glamorous rooms" I create for them.
As you can see in my portfolio, I also design very austere and abstract interiors and have as much fun creating those as well. But lately I hear more and more: "...can we add a touch of glam?", my answer is always "your wish is my command".
