2 possibilities - the light is reflected from the window or a flash was put in the sink to balance out the light coming from the window. :) Rhoda

might be it's sun light b'coz in sink can't add electric lights :)

Taking another look at the photo, I noticed the shadows from the faucet. Indeed it does look as though the light source is the sink. If it hadn't been there when the photograph was taken, the window would have been lighter and the rest of the kitchen would have been much darker.

Here's an example of a photo of one of our projects where the photographer put a flash inside the cabinet to balance out the flash that was used on the outside - if there hadn't been flash inside, the inside would have been very dark:
