    It also goes by Wood Stone Granite, Palamino Granite, and Yellow Wood Granite (unless it's just very similar to Wood Stone).

    If you go to a major granite warehouse distributor and show them this picture they will probably know what it is. Every supplier usually makes up their own name for the stone they carry.

    Actually, Schachne... , most stones are named consistently across suppliers. Differences in naming can be because slabs came in looking very different from others of the same name or because they came from a different quarry/ source overseas. The only companies that usually change granite names are the super cheap discount fabricators (so that price shopping is harder). This is a gorgeous kitchen by the way. Wonderful work.

    It's quartzite and also goes by stone wood.
