Can anyone give me some companies that make similar cabinetry: european frameless, simple slab doors with nice quality wood (not paper). Is the only way to get a "flowing"
grain (i.e. the matching from drawer-front to drawer-front appearing as cut from the same piece of wood) custom?

Yup, you pretty much need to go to a custom shop to get the grains to match within the cabinet and especially other cabinets the room. There's an art to selecting and matching veneers. The exciting thing about this is that you can likely have a hand in selecting the veneers to be used in your home. :) Rhoda
