Really love mine. I even have them on my patio door. Easy to dust, or even wash if kids with peanut butter fingers grab them. I love them especially in the winter when they seem to keep the cold from radiating off my double pane windows in the evenings when the temp drops.

Depends on how much the room is decorated and color of walls. If its sparse, or have a lot of empty wall space, I would say go with some type of window treatments. If there is already different textures and colors in the room, then I would go with the wood blinds.
