Need a mirror for my entry console.

The color stays, the console stays, the architecture stays, but I am sorely in need of a better mirror. Ideas?

I assume you tried to attach a photo, but it did not take.

My style is "transitional with whimsy".

The console looks dwarfed, but it is actually 32" tall.

Ooh, me likey that console!! Would you consider painting the interior of the niche a darker color? I see a more modern frameless unique mirror with some lighting. Sconce on each side? Lamp on console?

Do you think the mirror would look better hung on the wall instead of leaning on it?

Something like this one to pick up the color in the animal print with a shot of black.

Margo, what color would you paint the niche? The space is too narrow for a mirror and two sconces. A lamp would work.
Pitbulls, the mirror is hung on the wall, though it touches the console. I bought it before I got the console since its top follows the arch, but I think the console deserves a more stylish mirror.
judyg, I agree that antique gold would pick up the animal print and I have other antique gold accessories in the adjoining room. My dilemma is the shape and heft. Will the Sunburst mirror be too "delicate"?

With your charming chest I like the round shape and simplicity of this gold mirror. I'd paint the alcove SW Black Fox.

I was thinking a golden hue to the bronzy side. I like the round mirror above.

It's rather like reading from a list of delicious wines. How do you choose just one?

Carolyn, Black Fox? Never would have thought of that, but look - stunning! I'll be painting next week and on the hunt for a round mirror. Thank you, all.
