New house's bathroom = bad color combo

The house we've moved into has light beige fixtures, dark wood cabinetry, a mixed tile lighter-colored floor and dark green countertops. Color clash! Towel rods don't match either. Making matters worse, natural lighting is missing from the vanity and we can't add outlets or towel rods to one sink because of a pocket door. This whole bath needs re-doing! Help!
