Nice place! A flat screen TV on the staircase wall and sofa on long blank wall. Chair and side table in front of the windows. Ottomans as coffee tables for more seating. Maybe a round dining table to break up the straight lines.

FYI...your stairs do NOT meet code. There is no handrail at all on the LH wall and there also needs to be a newel post with railing and balusters on the (4) exposed stairs. Perhaps the photos were taken prior to this work being done?

While a continuous handrail IS required the full length of the stairs, a "newel post with railing and balusters" is not.

R312.1.1 Where required.
Guards shall be located along open-sided walking surfaces, including stairs, ramps and landings, that are located more than 30 inches (762 mm) measured vertically to the floor or grade below at any point within 36 inches (914 mm) horizontally to the edge of the open side. Insect screening shall not be considered as a guard.
