I've seen some rooms where the curtains are basically at the ceiling but wasn't sure if there are certain situations where that is more/less desirable.

The only logical place for the bed in this room is with the headboard up against the window. It is a very wide window, as you can see. My plan so far is to put sheers towards the middle with more opaque panels at either end. I'm not set on that so if you have other ideas please let me have them!

There are mounting brackets already there, but I can move them easily if higher is better.

Room will be painted with BM Pale Smoke or maybe one shade lighter, Patriotic White. Bedding is a paisley type print.
