I like clear and frameless.

Frameless door provides a more 'upscale' feel.

With your nice tile work I would do clear, frameless glass. One, it will show off your tile and two, it will make the space look larger.

Why? Hard to clean, expensive and in your situation it would be hard to reach in to turn the water on.

I would go with frameless and clear as well I have a frameless shower door in my master bath and I love how easy it is to wipe down. I also love that I don't have to worry about the silver trays at the bottom of traditional shower doors getting grimy. Buy a nice squeegee and some windex and you'll be good to go. What kind of lighting do you have in this bathroom? It could just be the photo, but it looks like a bright fluorescent from overhead.

I'm taking consensus here and will go with a frameless glassdoor... that being said, I have noticed that the frameless ones do not slide... leelee (above) mentioned that it would be hard to reach to turn the water on, which is very valid point. Sometimes I need to get to the faucet to clean my golf clubs for example... any one know if an affordable frameless glass door that will slide both ways? or does that not exist?

Go with the above mentioned frameless glass doors and then do this for the golf clubs! :)

The frameless generally don't slide ( a slide tends to introduce a guideline or track, creating a line). But you can get frameless in 2 glass panels - one fixed, one swinging - with different proportions on the fixed/swing sections. This might help if a large single sheet worries you.
