We used Honey Onyx, which is translucent, as panels over the hood. Behind the removable assembly is dimmable LED tape with the transformer. The switch is next to the stove. The onyx is also the backsplash behind the stove. There is also a tile mosaic on the front and sides of the hood. The light is bright enough to use as a night light with no other lights on. It really shows off the grain of the stone too!
