It looks like some of those huge floor-to-ceiling windows open onto the top of the stairs, then a sort of landing on the stairs, but then, in the middle of the living room, that you can open the middle window and fall one story down to the concrete pad below (between bottoms of the two outdoor staircases). Is this an illusion? How do you keep people from walking straight through the house and stepping out into thin air when the windows are open on the water side of the building in the middle of the living room?
