Hi everyone, I would like to purchase new furniture for my living room, but am completely stuck on what to do with the room. The fireplace/wood stove is in the corner of the room making the layout challenging. I am leaning toward a sectional couch in beige. I have color swatches lying on the couch in the attached pics. I've been told I should repaint and get rid of the stripe around the room. The room is also quit dark, so maybe a lighter color, but what color? The neighboring kitchen is a deep red. I've attached current pics and some of my ideas. I want the room to be cozy and warm. Any help/ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
