Baths by Marlene
These clients wanted to remodel their '90's bath for a more comfortable and spacious feel. We vaulted the ceiling, added a clawfoot tub to replace the humdrum drop-in version, and added a pony wall between the tub and the toilet. Window treatment is a shade that can be pulled from the bottom up, with a sweeping valence accented with glass bead trim.
A spacious master bath has two sinks and a vanity area, plus copious storage for clothing: drawers, hanging space and hampers for the laundry. A whirlpool tub and 2-person shower are included, along with a separate toilet room. The owners' love of red is reflected in the line of red glass mosaic tile used in the backsplash, and a couple of random hand-painted butterflies on the walls.
This powder room carries a modern Asian theme. The vanity wall is featured with a vertical glass mosaic pattern, a retrofitted turquoise dresser, a hand-painted vessel sink and a bamboo wall faucet. Mirror is capiz shell. Sconces are alabaster; ceiling light is made of silk.
