Tom has a great sense of wood, design, and creativity. I was very impressed with a table he made of multiple types of wood, and techniques. I look forward to seeing more of his work.

I have seen firsthand many of the projects Blue Spruce Joinery has completed over the years and I highly recommend them for not only their work, but their work ethic and pragmatic "can do" attitude. Tom Higbee, the principle at Blue Spruce, is a profesional in every sense of the word. If you are considering working with BSJ, I would recommend setting up a meeting with Tom and you will immediately sense wht I'm talking about. He takes every job serioulsy, and works to insure their final product is something that he is proud to put his name on. Tom also has an artist's eye, and a terrific sense of the aesthetic. You can see this come out in the custom furniture they also build. From the furniture, to a whole-house constrcution, they bring an attention to detail and a pride in their workmanship that is second to none.

We gutted & re-configured our kitchen and our contractor/builder of choice was Blue Spruce Joinery. Our overall experience was wonderful. Not only was the work of the highest quality but Tom Higbee's assistance with the design was extremely helpful. He was able to make our ideas a reality but at the same time point out what ideas wouldn't work. When that was the case, the alternatives he provided were in line with our vision of our dream kitchen. Tom and his crew were at our house when they committed to be, stayed within the budget we set, finished the project in a timely manner and left our new kitchen clean. My husband and I love to cook and after three years are still in love with the kitchen Blue Spruce Joinery created for us.
