Sheila Schmitz Hi, abavaro -- Kitchen islands are usually custom designed to fit a specific kitchen space and style, so you could have something similar made the length you need and with any other details you liked (including no sink). :)
I love the rustic feel of these wood and woven stools, and the fact that there's a single mismatched one at the end of the island. The warm tones of the wood stools connect to the ceiling beams and the copper hood, warming up this otherwise very white kitchen. Who says stools have to match? The choice to do backless stools here was also a good call since it appears that they live on a pretty busy corridor.
I love this double-scalloped copper hood with darker copper accent borders. The warm tones in the hood are balanced by the wood beams on the ceiling, the floors and bar stools.

like the way it enters into sunroom and the dining room - like the mixture of wood beams and hood fan chairs and floor contrast with white cabinets and counters

Interesting island style...lighter looking than a lot of the heavier solid bottomed islands/peninsulas...dimensions look like they could be good for our space
