Alisa Hofmann Good afternoon,
This is an Oak floor. It was custom stained to be similar to the existing floor on the dining room side of this peninsula. If I remember correctly, it was installed by Amber Flooring http://www.amberflooring.com/#!/home
Alisa Hofmann Garbage disposers can fit into double or single sinks. With a double an additional drain trim is needed. The only other thing to consider with a disposer is if it fits in the space below your sink and if the drain into the wall is low enough. Your plumber can look at this and make adjustments if needed. I recommend Insinkerator's Evolution XL http://www.insinkerator.com/en-us/Household-Products/Garbage-Disposers/Evolution/Pages/Evolution-Excel.aspx it costs only a little more than the other lines, but has a great grind anything factor. I've never had client complaints.
KitchenUse a vented exhaust fan over your stove to completely remove cooking fumes from your kitchen. Scrub sinks, faucets, refrigerator trays and door seals to remove mold. Keep under-sink cabinets and countertops clean and dry. Use a disinfecting cleaner to kill mildew. Get a secure trash bin, and empty it regularly to keep insects away. Cockroaches are a common cause of indoor allergy symptoms and asthma — yet another reason to keep them out of the house.
Undersink cleaning supplies. When it's time to clean, who wants to get down on hands and knees and feel around in the dark spot behind the garbage disposal looking for cleaning products? A drawer under the kitchen sink lets you pull everything into easy view and within reach.
2. Make Necessary RepairsGo ahead and make any repair work that you have left unfinished. Not only will the buyer's home inspector find those issues anyway, but you are hindering offers if there are obvious repairs that need to be made. Unfinished repairs or projects reflect badly on the overall maintenance of the home and send up a red flag to would-be buyers. Nothing will make a buyer pull out of a deal and run for the hills faster than a home inspection report riddled with needed repairs and safety concerns.
