On the northern shores of Puerto Rico there are strips of beaches for every taste. I chose this one to swim in and paint due to its impressive reef that keeps the area safe from the strong waves in a salt water lagoon. I am fascinated by the shadows cast upon the sand by all the Palm trees, colors in the sky and waters.
I am certified as an artisan in Puerto Rico, working fine crafts with gourds and encourage the children in this rural area to get involved in the arts and visit the gallery works
About the artist:
I started painting at the end of 2006 as healing process due to loss. I started and can not stop. Once I gave myself permission, I paint every day and encourage those around me to do art or at least to look and see the beauty surrounding us. Self taught. I just retired after 40 yrs working as a Physical Therapist and now have a small studio/gallery where I sell my works and those of fellow artists.I am certified as an artisan in Puerto Rico, working fine crafts with gourds and encourage the children in this rural area to get involved in the arts and visit the gallery works
