This piece may show minor age appropriate signs of wear including wood imperfectionsbut as shown it is overall in very good cosmetic and structural condition.What is astragal (wood or lead) glazing? As it pertains to later period furniture, it is a method of securing glass to the straight, semi-circular, or shaped moldings found on glass doors and windows of furniture.
