I like to use acrylic vs the oil because acrylic dryes fast and I can express my feelings with no waiting of the paints will dry for the next lever of the artwork. I also use spatulas, palette knives and brushes(more rare). I like to paint fishes. I also like to add some other things such as people, or nature; sometimes it might be a little perspective to make it more interesting. The colors of this painting were dictated to me after I watched the Perfect Storm movie. Even thought there wasn't these particular colors, I felt like it. I saw this fish on my underpainting while I was trying to talk to my underpainting, and I worked on it to make it the way I feel. This painting is varnished, the sides are finished, black. The painting has wire and it's ready to hang.
