lauriebtown Beckluke, try white macubus granite. I also wanted carerra marble for my kitchen but didn't want the upkeep. I recently put this in my kitchen and everyone thinks it's marble, myself jncluded! It's beautiful but an exotic and very expensive, it was the splurge of the kitchen renovation and well worth it. I can upload a photo if you'd like.
Can anyone help me find the brand name and color of the backsplash? This is the size tile I have been searching high and low for in this exact color... »
The softer side of chandeliers. I like this room very much, especially in contrast to the dramatic kitchen above, because it shows that glamorous doesn't have to be just sexy. It can be soft, too. These colors are very pretty - not at all harsh - but they're dressed up by the chandelier.
Though you'll want to make sure the wiring works correctly, used chandeliers can add immediate interest to a room, and are often quite unique in and of themselves. Dust off your own chandelier and put it in an unconventional place, such as over this kitchen island, or over a child's bed.
This blown-glass chandelier adds just the right amount of personality to keep this transitional kitchen warm and inviting.
Would you hang a chandelier in your kitchen?
Again, love the color combo of the tiles in the white kitchen. Not necessarily the large size of these tiles, but I just love the punch of color in an otherwise white kitchen.
