I love the zoning with wording, encouragement to play and create, and the overall feeling of this room. The entrance to the deck is a perfect addition.
Eating at the kids' table doesn't always have to be a bad thing. Sometimes kids need their own space to eat together and have fun - but not always, so it makes sense to invest in a kids' table that can fill many roles. This little table is cute and multifunctional. It's perfect for dinner, crafts, coloring, homework - and it looks great, too.
This picture of the creative kids' table makes me think about how nesting tables could be used at multi-generational gatherings. Maybe it's just because I'm the eldest of my siblings but I would love to see different-sized kids' tables for different groups that could then be nested into each other for storage.

3. Kid friendly surfaces. Easy to clean flooring, like linoleum and wood, make the clean up a snap. If your floors are carpeted and changing them isn't in the budget, you can add a large piece of vinyl found at home improvement stores under the table to catch the spills and drips
