Television ? - Would it be possible to place a TV on the wall above the fire here?
While the views are spectacular and so is the house, it gives me the feeling it is not lived in. It's very glamorous, but it's sterile. It looks staged. There isn't any character of the owners; no books; personal items; photos etc. It reminds me of a 'for sale' brochure ! »
Mark English Architects, AIA I wouldn't put a tv above this fireplace, even a large one will look tiny. This was shot as people were moving in, but it still looks very similar. Different strokes!
mimilez Im assuming it's natural. Does it have a water or oil based top coat on it. This top coat was applyed after it was installed. Thank you for your information.
Mark English Architects, AIA Hi, the small cans in the soffit directly above the stone are 3" remodeling type without housings. The others are 4" cans.
Looks like our layout - like the beams above - ?maybe wood vs drywall. Like window placement (ok with less) and how wall to 2nd story is set back a bit.
