Information about the credenza please. Beautiful! »
Dear Emily
Where can I buy these beautiful fushia dining chairs, perfect for my renovation. I have looked everywhere in the UK and can't find anything as stunning as this.
Kind regards

ccrenee1 question did you increase the color to 125% or 150% of classic gray? We are in the process of painting some rooms classic gray and this picture of the classic gray looks a slight bit darker than the 100% classic gray. Please advise because we are thinking increasing to 150% today.
Do you think a sectional in the same blue tone color would look ok with that high chair? I have a small bungalow, I'm not sure I can fit the chaise. Thank you! »
And remember it's not always a crime to let a few components show. A beautiful room is a beautiful room. This is one of my favorites on Houzz. It's not hard to image a couple of component boxes sitting just below the flat screen and atop this console.More: Where to Put the TV?Great Rooms With Great ViewingHow to Arrange Your Room for TV and People, TooWhere to Put the TV When the Wall Won't Work
You can also go with a more streamlined chaise that has contrasting piping (or welting). Because this one is backless, you can sit on either side, depending on where the conversation is happening. In another space, the same chaise could be placed against the wall. This versatility makes a backless chaise a good investment piece.
Play up different spaces in an open floor plan. Keep your home light and white, and let color shine throughout on fabrics, wall art and furnishings/decor to divide up your open rooms.
Open layouts are great for creating a series of separate areas conducive for entertaining. Help the entire space feel cohesive by carrying similar colors into each area, such as this magenta on both the dining room chairs and the upholstery in the living room.
Connecting colors: In an open floor plan, an accent color can connect different areas of your home. Upholstery is a great way to accomplish this. I love how these dining chairs are in a solid fabric while the wing chair wears a pattern.
I like to pipe solids on solids for a polished look. Emily Ruddo went with a bold pink with white piping on her dining chairs and a more neutral look with a cream settee with dark piping in this living room.
