• Pawleys Island Large Soft Weave Hammock

The Large Soft Weave Hammock from Pawleys Island is one such product that admirably demonstrates the combination of tradition design and modern materials. It is desinged to easily and comfortably accommodate 2 adults with a total weight capacity of 450 lbs. The hammock bed measures 6 feet 10 inches long, by 4 feet 7 inches wide.

• The Hammock is manufactured from 'cotton' soft ribbons that are woven together to create a super soft cushiony surface.

The ribbon is manufactured from a fabric that's not only resistant to staining, rot, mold and mildew, but also is filled with a plush center of non absorbent polyester fiberfill batting for added softness and comfort.
This fabric has been solution dyed to create the four vibrant colours available. In this process the color is not applied to the finished product through washing or dipping, but during the making of the thread fibre itself, thereby becoming a permanent part of the fibre

• The Pillow

A generously plump cushion of polyester fiberfill batting is encased within two layers of soft all-weather, solution-dyed fabric. With the top side done in a thatch work of padded fabric ribbons, our soft weave pillows are among the plushest places you can lay your head!
The pillow measures 34 inches long by 16 inches tall and comfortably accommodates 2 people. It has Hook-and-loop straps on back, to make sure it stays where you want.
Manufactured from the same materials as the hammock itself, so it is very durable and color fast, this overstuffed pillow is a great addition to your hammock
The spreader bars at each end of the hammock are solid Southern white oak, that have been hand dipped in marine varnish multiple times to ensure they are capable of enduring the rigours of outdoor life, and to bring out the hardwoods natural honey-gold color.
Attention to detail is evident in every aspect of this hammock. The hanging ropes attaching the hanging hardware to the hammock bed are from weather tough 'cotton' feeling soft spun polyester, which has been precision wound to exceed even the US militaries specifications for strength. They won't let you down!
Hanging hardware, including chains, is zinc-plated steel, for a further boost in strength, and for heightened rust protection, while the grommets for connecting rope to hammock bed are brass-plated rolled-rim steel.

• Caring For Your Hammock

As weather-tough as a Pawleys Island Hammock is, we do still strongly advise storing it in an enclosed dry place away from harsh chemicals and foraging wildlife when the hammock is going to be unused, or during lengthy stretches of bad weather, to help prolong this product's useful life.
