I designed the kitchen to suit the environment and the house's location overlooking the sea. The subtle grey gloss units with the white Corian work surfaces reflect the sea itself and the bespoke extra-large island has a wave effect as it gently curves down to the lower seating area. The island itself helps incorporate the kitchen with the living area with bookcases and shelves on the lounge side and the hob and kitchen units the other. The subtle colours allowed for bright colours in the glass splashbacks, accessories and steel beams, again helping the interior to work with the building itself.
