Love the headboards n two beds. - Our room is 17feet wide n wish to do something similar. However, we wish to know if two queen beds would be best or two full beds for this space.? We look forward to your quick response. Thank you, ms. Jaimee »
Walsh Design Group, Inc. Either size could work but you will have much more walking room around them if you do full size. A full mattress is 54" wide while a queen is 60" wide plus the width of the headboard.
neillinder Hello,
We have a bedroom that is 17 feet wide n we are wondering what would be best set of beds for this space? Is it two queens or two fulls? I can be reached at jrabich@hotmail.com. Thank you, Ms. Jaimee
Walsh Design Group, Inc. Two fulls would fit the space better. A full mattress is 54" wide but the bedframe/headboard will be wider. With a 26-30" wide nightstand between you will still have almost 30" on each side of the beds. If you choose queen size it will be important not to be too wide on the nightstand to allow adequate space on the sides of the beds. It is "do-able" but will decrease the space on the sides to about 24" +/-.
Walsh Design Group, Inc. These were custom made. They can be made in any size, syle, and fabric. The cost on these was about $4,000. Please contact us if you'd like more information.
You may take a cue from your living room chairs and go with a wingback shape. The sides will envelope you, or at least your pillows. The height of these headboards gives them a strong presence.
I love, love, love the colors used to bring this room to gather and I am going to attempt to make the head boards. They take my breath away. Great job!
thanks anyway
