this sort of reflects our layout - windows on back wall, island, return peninsula on left side, fridge with wall oven and microwave next to it.
this is as close as we have seen to what we are talking about.
This layout could work for us. Add the island and then the table in the new space. Could have a desk and shelving for cookbooks against the outer wall.
