How do you Hang a chandelier outdoors in uncovered patio area? - I have a beautiful old chandelier and am replacing the lights with candles, but I haven't figured out how to hang it or where to hang it from. Any ideas? »
jaryr Thanks for the ? For this set up my columns were poorly anchored into 2x2's in the ground holding the pavers in, and 2x2's running from each column on the top. I ran heavy wire from each column creating an X. Then I hung the light weight lanterns from that. Since that party a wind storm blew it over and I had a much stronger metal one duplicate this same look, and was able to rework the same vines onto it.
This scene combines open air dining with indoor pieces like upholstered chairs. The foliage "walls" and "ceiling" make for a lovely overgrown, forest-like setting for a fanciful alfresco dining experience.
The French country pattern of the textile in this outdoor setting softens the table and helps it stand out from its natural surroundings, infusing a festive element to the party that's about to take place.

Put the dinning table outside for dinner patries, no need for a formal dining room. The pillars and cobblestone define the room area, much like a carpet and walls.

PO-patio: could you soften the patio by extending it out in the direction of the treehouse. The extension would have a trellised roof, stone or paver floor and incorporate built in grill.

Love the coziness of the design layout. The garden greenery and blooms. The vintage brick floor. So informal and inviting. Wonderful layout for entertaining family, friends. That you can remove the dining table and chairs and enjoy the garden.
