This Herman Miller product uses the same design developed by Ray and Charles Eames in the late 1940s but with new and eco-friendly materials. The polypropylene shell is both recyclable and durable. The shell is dyed throughout in order to retain vibrant colors even after years of hard use. This particular model features a 4 Leg base. For ultimate comfort the shell is connected to the 4 Leg base by rubber shock mounts. The four legs are firmly connected to the base of the seat to prevent sliding or marking on floors.
