That was actually a travertine top that we sealed... A lot of people are afraid to use these kind of surfaces, but we used it in this space and on the island bar top. Both have held up very well!!!

The backsplash is the same cabinet material, seperated into panels and it has corbels on the ends. The antique bone colored cabinetry is lighter than the golden buttercream walls. I can't give you the wall color because it is 3 coats of glaze over Satin Cream textured walls. The trim is panted a light grey-green with 3 dragged glazes over that. You can check with your local faux-finishing or custom paint companies for quotes in your area... just show them the picture. If you are in the Chicago area, call me for some referals or look up Delta City Painting and Drywall.

Thanks for your help. I'm trying to remodel an old 70's house that still has the green shag carpet! =) I wish I lived close, I'm in Oklahoma. You guys did a marvelous job on this. I absolutely love this room!

New house family room as something similar--but they stopped there. I was hoping I can match it to carry thru the great room area and kitchen

The trim is a faux finish... starting with a cream and then has 3 drags on top with a finish coat. It is not out of the can....

Unfortunately, this cabinet supplier is no longer in business. Any custom cabinet shop can copy these though. I love WoodMode cabinets and use them often, as well as Christopher Peacock and Jason Meyer for Custom cabinetry. I try to keep outlets out of the wood-panelled back-splash areas, put corbels on the sides down to the countertop and usually use a decorative kick. This cabinet however did not get the kick.
Cabinetry: www.wood-mode.com could do this easy.
