Rockefeller Partners Architects Thank you. The concrete work on this project was excellent. The subcontractor that did all the concrete work was Dave Shaw Concrete and Block. They do superb work. Dave is a real artist and suspect would love to share his thought on how he does it. Best way to reach them might be through their website www.daveshawconcrete.com. Best of luck!
Rockefeller Partners Architects The interior wood flooring was teak. The exterior wall T+G you see in this photo was a stained clear-heart cedar. The ceiling was clear-heart cedar as well.
I am trying to approximate the cost for a project such as this. - What would the cost for adding two decks to an existing home on a cantilever construction at the ocean where the decks would be above the rocks where the waves crash at times? I imagine it would be similar to a remodel where the stucco would be removed to reach the girders and such, and then re stucco or some other nice finish as it is an expensive home. »
Emily Hurley Hi Brenda, So much depends on your exact circumstance and even where you are geographically, that I'd say your best bet is to come up with a pretty clear idea of what you would like to do (ideabooks are great for that) then talk to a few local contractors to see if they can give you a rough idea.
Rockefeller Partners Architects Hi. Your question is probably best directed to a contractor. The contractor on this project was Wilson Construction out of Manhattan Beach, CA. They did a fantastic job.
Uhler Homes embed a roller screen that pulls down in the header over the door between the pivot points of the doors, so that they will come down when the doors are open
MICHI Designs Mirage screens are the best choice, will hold up better than any other screen on the market and have a pet mesh option that is more durable than any other competitor screens, good if you have cats... I have used Mirage screens for all my happy clients.
Glass Railings are a great option on balconies. Creative Reflections can install a Glass Railing that will add style without compromising our design or view.
